We are a team of amateur footballers who are looking to drum up the support of local/small businesses in the hope of securing the future of our much loved team, Fordbank Star AFC.

Founded in the local area of Corseford in Johnstone in 1996, we have been a member of the Paisley and District Amateur League for the past 11 years. Various members of the original team still play an important part in our club and all players are from the local area. Currently playing in division 1 we are the most successful club within our league set-up and strive for more success and enjoyment in the coming years.

However, our team cannot survive on our spirit alone and that is where you come in!!!! We need the financial support of our local businesses to allow us to purchase the necessary items and equipment that our team need to survive. These items include strips, kit bags, training equipment, medical equipment, footballs and the like that will allow us to continue in our success as a team.

In return for a donation of either hard cash or indeed the necessary items themselves that we need, we will offer you an advertising slot with everything you need to know about your company on this very website, www.fordbankstar.com , which was viewed by over 500 people in its first 7 days since created. We will also contact the local newspapers to arrange a photo and advertising with an announcement of the sponsorship/donation. Please also note that if you choose to provide funding for one full item of equipment, for example our team kit bags or training clothing, we will have your company name printed on the equipment for all to see.
