16/05/2008 - Mark Pimlott

Mark suffered a double leg break on Tuesday night during the game against Kilbarchan. Visited Mark in hospital last night and hes in good spirits and doing well. Hes gonna be in plaster for the next 10 weeks but hopefully will make a full recovery, he'll know more next week. He gets home today, Friday 16/05. Please leave any messages on the guestbook for him...

Would like to thank the guys from Kilbarchan who helped out on the pitch after the injury and agreed to adandon the game, especially the guy who sat with Mark the whole time until the ambulance arrived. (dont know your name, sorry)

Fordbank Star player David Rock turns 21 today. Happy Birthday!

David is having a pirate party at the Soldiers Club in Johnstone tonight, heres a picture of David and close pal Michael Shek trying on their party outfits. All players are warned to be on their best behaviour tonight as we have an important game tomorrow.

07/12/2007 - FORDBANK GOALIE IN HORROR INJURY!!!

Fordbank Goalkeeper Mark Wimplett suffered a serious shoulder injury during the week which could leave him sidelined for a few weeks. During an arm wrestle challenge with Billy Blade from the HRYB (pictured right), Wimplett was overpowered and left in agony, " a tellt him he wis a big wumin n heed nae chance o beetin me" said Billy.

26/11/2007 - HEAVY DOWNPOUR FOR FORDBANK SUBS!
During to the heavy down pour at the Race Course on Saturday, Fordbank Star sub Damian Turner decided to cover up and stay dry with his new KAPPA track suit!

25/11/2007 - NEW SIGNINGS!
Fordbank would like to welcome 2 new signings to the club. Goalkeeper Jamie McLaughlin from Renfrew Vics and the return of ex-Fordbank player Ian McCallum from Houston. Both guys are a welcome addition to the squad and will make the competition for 1st 11 places even tougher.
